Baroque Oboe after Eichentopf, Stained Boxwood, A=415. Three brass keys, 3rd and 4th holes doubled.
This instrument was made by me in 2019, and was one of my personal instruments. I apprenticed in baroque oboe making with Harry Vas Dias, and have been making oboes since 2015. Instrument is priced to sell. Please note there is no case for this instrument.
There is a slight warp in the middle joint tenon area but playability is not affected. The oboe plays well and has a lovely, sweet sound. I can provide a reed in a recommended set up at no cost if requested, but please note this will delay shipping time. Otherwise I am happy to make general recommendations. The oboe will be oiled and given a good going over before shipping.
