Baroque Oboe after Denner, Stained Boxwood, A415. Three brass keys, 3rd and 4th holes doubled.
This instrument was made by me in 2020, and was one of my personal instruments. I apprenticed in baroque oboe making with Harry Vas Dias. Instrument is priced to sell. Please note there is no case with this instrument.
There is a slight warp in the lower portion of the middle joint but playability is not affected, but it is apparent in the photograph. The oboe plays well and has a lovely, sweet sound. I can provide a reed in a recommended set up at no cost if requested, but please note this will delay shipping time. Otherwise I am happy to make general recommendations. The instrument will be oiled and given a good going over before shipping.
